Greenback kicked off the Independence Day celebration with the annual Fourth of July Parade. Dignitaries, candidates, churches and other groups lined up to participate. The sampling included floats, antique cars, tractors, 4-wheelers, golf carts, fire trucks, police cars and even some on foot who participated. The community turned out in force and the children brought bags to collect lots of candy thrown from parade entrants.
